My 20 hours working with Coach Steiv were very nice because working with the younger learners really brought me back to when I was a 6-7th grader at ACLC and how much fun I had during p.e.
Also i would like to add that working with coach Stevi taught me how to setup a P.E class and how to deal with younger learners because trust me it does have it's good days and bad days. But really it's all laughs going on in here. Also how I got my 20 hours was just by coming here every day or when I had a free period so I would just come over here and all the learners would say hey to me like they didn't just see me the day before but it's all love.
Also just the vibe of helping out.
So here's what goes on for P.E. first the learners will run 2 to 3 laps as they are running their laps i would be setting up the activity that they will be doing for the day. As they finish up their laps him and I will talk to them about the activity then we would all just go out and have a good time until class ends. Also I have learned how to lead a class just by watching him do it so I would say I picked up some major things just by being here.
But I did have a great time doing this as a internship I glad I had the chance to do my internship here with him. I had a blast and some other seniors of next year should come and do their internship here.
Also just being able to help out with anything that someone needs help with because I like to think of myself as someone who likes to help others without a doubt in my mind that's why I had no problem doing this because all i'm doing here really is just helping people out. Because even in a P.E class learners may need help also the learners can think of me as a friend not that they already don't it's really because how nice and open to talk to i am around them. But like I said before it's all about having a great time because there's no hard work that goes on here the class is really just a laid back class like there's no fighting, cursing or anything like that. Well maybe from time to time you might hear the f-bomb slip so we tell them not to say that or if there's any name calling you are going to take a lap and when you finish you have to apologize for whatever you did. So in a way this class builds characteristics for some of these learners so just by experiencing this was great and if i could do this again i would without a doubt in mind.
